Lobster on the Green to be September 8

FALLBROOK — Tickets for the annual gala fundraiser Lobster on the Green, to be held Friday, September 8, at the beautiful Beverly Manor and gardens around the lake at the Grand Tradition, are now available for sale through the members of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook. The highlight of the gala features all-you-can-eat lobster, steak, corn, potatoes and more (sorry, no containers or take-home). There will also be cash bars. Proceeds go to benefit local nonprofit organizations and charities. This year checks totaling $40,700 were distributed to over 21 local groups and organizations from the 2005 event.

To raise additional revenue for the charities, over 50 silent auction items will be available for table bidding prior to and during the feast. Multiple major items will also be available for live auction following dinner, and they include a “seven days for four in Australia” trip and a 1930 Model A Deluxe Ford Coupe, the latter being donated by Fallbrook Rotary President Jack Wood.

Advance purchase tickets only are available now by check or credit card (this will be a sell-out event and no tickets will be sold on site the night of the gala). Reservations can be made directly through [email protected] or (760) 451-0960. Reserved tables can be arranged. Free parking is available in the Grand Tradition parking lots or at the corner of Mission Road and Peppertree, directly adjacent to the entry to the Grand Tradition.
