Last updated 9/1/2006 at Noon

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently donated to Fallbrook’s Avocado Division 81 of the California Retired Teachers Association (CRTA). Kathleen Stiles has not only been a charter member of the Car Club since the 1960s, she is also an English Language Arts specialist who is retired from teaching at Elsinore High School. As a member of both organizations she represented the Car Club as she gave the donation check to CRTA Co-President Sandra Grossman. CRTA Co-Chair Lucile Reeder offered background information about Fallbrook CRTA’s charter date in May of 1988 for this item. Currently there are 153 members who offer scholarships and lend a hand to past, present and future educators. They present grants to teachers for classroom projects that the school districts do not fund. To help call (760) 728-3879 or (760) 728-3362.
