'Channeling Your Way to Change'

One hundred twenty-five Chapter Officers, 14 schools, 19 Ag teachers, two guest speakers… and one awesome experience! Last weekend, the Fallbrook FFA Officer Team took a trip up to Tullock Ranch, in Santa Ysabel, for the weekend. At the section officer retreat, the team went over section business, participated in teambuilding activities, went over officer responsibilities and met new people from all over the section! The retreat’s theme was “Channeling Your Way to Change.”

While at the retreat, one of the activities was for the officer team to “sell the product” they were given. The Fallbrook FFA team’s product was responsibility. This retreat is a unique experience for the officers to meet new people, learn new aspects of leadership and find new ways to include more members of the chapter in all that they do.

Next Wednesday, Fallbrook FFA members will be headed to the Ups ’n Downs roller skating rink in Escondido. The first Fallbrook FFA chapter meeting will immediately follow the skating activity. I encourage all FFA members to attend; it is a fun way to start off the year, meet new members and make connections with members from other schools! To attend this activity, it is required that the member must have paid their activity fee to their Ag instructor.

That is all for this week; thank you for reading!
