BBQ and other great FFA fun

Last Friday, the Fallbrook FFA held their first home football game BBQ of the year! Many first-year students attended and started the year off with a very successful BBQ!

Yesterday, we had the San Diego Section Skating activity and our first chapter meeting! The students took a bus down to Ups ’n Downs roller rink in Escondido and then came back for pizza and the first Fallbrook FFA chapter meeting! Next Thursday, three Opening and Closing teams from Fallbrook will head down to San Pasqual High School for the Opening and Closing contest. In this contest, six students recite the lines of the six constitutional offices in the FFA, and they are judged against all of the other teams. There are three levels in the contest, the novice, open and advanced. Good luck to all who participate!

Upcoming events include a home football game BBQ on October 13 and 20 and the Ag Booster Auction on October 21.
