Teachers start the year appreciated

FALLBROOK — When Lyn Walsh, the Potter Junior High School secretary, decided to round up some community donations for teacher appreciation, she found herself overwhelmed by the Fallbrook business owners’ responses and support!

Call after call, local businesses welcomed the chance to thank the teachers by participating in Mrs. Walsh’s fun “kickoff” of the 2006/07 school year. At the first staff meeting, each teacher received an unmarked envelope with an enclosed gift certificate. They were very excited to find inside many surprises ranging from yummy yogurt certificates, car washes, dinners for two and even haircuts!

Numerous local sponsors made this possible. Potter Junior High School teachers would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for this supportive community!
