Eat great BBQ before the Warrior 'home games!'

The applause and shouts emanating from the cheering section at the Fallbrook Union High School playing field are directed toward the JV football team, not the cooks who prepared delicious tri-tip steaks for the FFA barbeque. However, the FFA students, some of their parents and FUHS faculty members deserve applause and cheers for preparing a delicious meal to be enjoyed prior to attending each ‘home’ varsity football game. The wonderful smoky scent in the air is evidence that the tri-tips are cooking. Large student-made smokers kick up a bit of smoke and a lot of savory scents. Dinners are served beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the great news is that the price is still only $8!

Sit at a picnic table in the shade of the sycamore trees and eat a hearty dinner of smoked tri-tip, a green salad, barbequed beans, a roll and a beverage. The tri-tip is always tender and flavorful and the barbequed beans complement the meat. The tossed green salad is available with a choice of dressing.

An added benefit of the pre-varsity game dinner is a great parking space. No time for the football game? Come by and eat dinner anyway! Stop by the Ag Department and put a smile on the faces of the hardworking FFA members by eating some great barbeque! The funds raised help to support the local Ag program and also generate support to send teams to the FFA National Convention.
