Woman's Club visits China Town

The women of the Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO) and Literature group of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club recently commuted by Amtrak to historic Los Angeles Union Station. From there they did a self-guided walking tour of China Town and enjoyed an authentic dim sum (literal translation: “touch my heart”) at the Golden Dragon. They visited quaint shops and a bookstore where they purchased children’s books for their annual holiday donation to the Child Development Center of Fallbrook.

Twice a year, the group visits historic locations to better understand the people and places that contribute to America’s heritage. ESO is an honorary sorority and a part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Continuing Education Department. The chairwoman is Joan Krupcazk.

Literature is a creative writing group headed by Chairwoman Virginia Funk. Members write fiction, poetry, memoirs and other various assignments.
