Dotti Scheidecker

Dotti Scheidecker, 88, died Sunday, September 3, 2006.

Born February 8, 1918, in Fairfield, CT, she lived the past 35 years in Fallbrook, where she loved raising her thoroughbred race horses and teaching English riding.

Prior to coming to Fallbrook, she was married for 27 years to Major General Paul Scheidecker, until his death in 1964.

Mrs. Scheidecker is survived by her daughters & son-in-law, Lynn & Ron Knapp, Burnsville, MN, and Paula Lowe, Beaufort, SC; son Paul Scheidecker, Fallbrook; sister Avia Schneider, San Marcos; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A mass and graveside service will be held on Friday, October 27, at 2:45 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
