Gourd/Pumpkin Fest nears

The Welburn Gourd Farm is hosting their fifth annual Gourd & Pumpkin Festival on October 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 40635 De Luz Road. Classes will also be held on Friday, October 6. Admission is free. The attractions will be the Gourd Art Exhibitors, “Make-It-Take-It” projects presented by the California Gourd Society, Iron Gourd Art competition, live demonstrations of GourdMaster products, delicious food and refreshments by Sweet Leilani’s, selection of over 150,000 organic gourds, art classes, organic pumpkins and baked goods.
