Lottie Mae McAnear

Lottie Mae McAnear, 83, of Williams, OR, died Monday, August 14, 2006, at a Grants Pass adult foster care home.

A graveside service will be held October 5, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Masonic Cemetery. Chapel of the Valley L.B. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lottie was born January 12, 1923, in Decatur, TX, to Judge J. & Henrietta R. Malone. She moved to California in 1942 and came to Williams from Fallbrook, CA, in 1995. On February 21, 1946, in Yuma, AZ, she married Zane Harold McAnear, who died January 1, 1989. Lottie was primarily a homemaker.

She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Fallbrook and was the church secretary for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society. She enjoyed her rose garden.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia “Ann” Hobein of Williams and Patricia James, Silt, CO; two sisters, Jessie Ruth Abbott, Fallbrook, CA, and Mary Frances Nicholson, Escondido, CA; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
