And the Warrior Band played on

FALLBROOK — A little over a week ago, the Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard proved their amazing dedication and enthusiasm at a lengthy “Practice-a-Thon.” They practiced their marching routines for nine hours straight under the tutelage of Mr. Phil Leonelli. Nine hours of marching and playing music is a tremendous physical and mental challenge. This practice was completed in addition to 10 hours of weekly practice. The goal of the Practice-a-Thon was to raise funds for the band to compete at the State Band Competition held in Fresno. The students have already held two car washes to help reach this goal.

The Warrior Band Boosters held a dinner for the band after the Practice-a-Thon, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Punn. Parents donated delicious food and a generous donation was received from Albertson’s.

The Warrior Band plans to play at all home football games and participate in the Veteran’s Day Parade and the festive Christmas Parade. Come enjoy the talent!
