Lollipop Kid coming

FALLBROOK — This year marks the 150th birthday of L. Frank Baum, author of “The Wizard of Oz,” and the Art Center is collaborating with the Mission Theater’s Jr. Fallbrook Players and Fallbrook’s Historic Downtown Merchants Association to celebrate in Fallbrook style! They’ve planned a very special event for Saturday, October 28: the “Essence of Toto” contest judged by Jerry Maren, best remembered as the Lollipop Kid Munchkin in “The Wizard of Oz” who hands Dorothy her lollipop!

In the movie, Toto was a cairn terrier; however, there is no breed limitation for this contest.
