Supervisors adjourn meeting in memory of Edith Blasier

The September 19 meeting of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors was adjourned in memory of Fallbrook’s Edith Blasier.
Blasier, who had lived in Fallbrook since 1973, passed away August 2 at the age of 74. “Edith Blasier was a special part of our community, and she will be missed,” said Supervisor Bill Horn, who read the adjournment in memory.
Blasier was born on December 25, 1931, in Nashville, TN. Her family moved to the Los Angeles area in 1946, and Blasier earned a degree in Social Studies from the University of Southern California. Blasier also met her husband, John, at US...
