Daniel Anthony Conforti

Daniel Anthony Conforti, 83, passed away at his home on October 2, 2006, of natural causes. He was born on November 13, 1922, in Sacramento, CA. Mr. Conforti was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 18 years.

Mr. Conforti was a graduate of USC and a member of the USC football team. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a teacher at Bell High School and loved the students he mentored; he won Agricultural Teacher of the Year for the state of California and was Regional Teacher of the Year twice. Very dedicated to his family and students, he was a coach for the football and tennis teams.

Mr. Conforti was preceded in death by his parents John & Rose Marie Conforti. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June C. Conforti, Fallbrook, CA; son & daughter-in-law Daniel, Jr. & Judy Conforti, Yorba Linda, CA; daughter & son-in-law Danetter M. & Thomas Cox, Irvine, CA; sisters and brother-in-law Carol Conforti and Jo Marie & Michael Mantel, all of Westlake, CA; and grandchildren David Cox, Diana Cox, Daniel A. Conforti III, Brent C. Conforti, Steven Cox and Camryn Conforti.

A funeral was held on October 6, 2006, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with interment at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada, CA, on October 9, 2006. Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary handled the arrangements.
