Hospice tea Oct. 21

Fallbrook Hospital Hospice will sponsor a free seminar on Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m. at the Palomares House in Fallbrook. “Tea for Daughters Who Have Lost Their Mom” will be in an atmosphere which is comfortable with other women, tea and cookies. Many daughters remember having tea with their moms and can still feel as though Mom is with them in these familiar moments.

Participants can share memories and gain insight to strategies for coping with loss and dealing with grief, be it two months ago or 20 years.

To many, no one loves you like a mom, but for some it can be the love we always wished we could have obtained. If this sounds like you or a loved one, you may benefit from this community gathering of daughters.

The seminar will be presented by Susan Greenly, MSW, who lost her mom as a young woman 20 years ago and still can feel her near.

All daughters are welcome! Please RSVP by October 20 for this free community outreach. For further information please call Fallbrook Hospital Hospice at (760) 728-1435.
