Re: 'I will never return to Fallbrook'

This article is the second one I have read in regards to the fact that parts of Fallbrook have turned into a barrio and they will never come back to Fallbrook. Instead of having a hostile attitude about what this town has become, I ask that you be happy and appreciate the years you spent here unscathed by the effects of illegal immigration. It is not just Fallbrook that is experiencing this but the United States as a country. You are just now seeing the more obvious effects in one of America’s towns but are missing the bigger picture. This would not be such a shock if you had a conscious awareness of the shift that has been happening for decades across America, not just in Fallbrook. Please take your focus off of Fallbrook’s leaders and look instead to the elected leaders of our country.

Please also be mindful and respectful of those of us raising families and making our home here in Fallbrook. The place you and others say you will never return to is our home, and a cherished place for many it is. There are those of us in Fallbrook and hundreds of other places who did not have the opportunity to live freely without the confrontation of illegal immigration, so just appreciate it and stop putting down our home. And by the way, William, you sound like an intelligent man. Do you have any suggestions on turning this all around?
