Essence of Toto Contest Sat. Oct. 28

FALLBROOK- Jerry Marren, the Wizard of Oz’s Lollipop Kid Munchkin, best remembered as handing the giant lollipop to Dorothy in Emerald City, will judge the Essence of Toto Contest that will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Village Square across from the Art Center at Fallbroook. In celebration of Frank Baum’s (author of The Wizard of Oz) 150th birthday, Maren will make several appearances in the Friendly Village – at the Mission Theater’s production of the Wizard of Oz, and at Wee Little Sprouts children’s shop on Main Street. Mr. Maren will judge the Essence of Toto contest and welcomes visitors of all ages to come meet him.

There is no breed limitation for the Essence of Toto contest and no cost. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. and stops at 3 p.m. Judging will take place at 3:30 p.m.
