Local band fundraiser for Russia concert

The Fallbrook Christian pop/punk/rock band Sorrow Underfoot is hosting a car wash on Saturday, October 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise funds for a November ministry trip to a remote region of Russia. Village Market & Liquor at 1510 South Mission Road in Fallbrook will be the car wash venue. The band’s lead singer, Shannon Taylor, said that they feel called to share their music with the Russian youth as a way to communicate the message of Jesus Christ. She also mentioned that the Russians seem to like American rock music and thus it would be a good conduit for sharing the Gospel.
