Hospital appoints new Human Resources Director

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Hospital has recently appointed Greg Smorzewski as Human Resources Director. Rooted in Fallbrook since early childhood, Greg graduated from Fallbrook High School in 1996. He lettered in basketball, and after he graduated he took on the role of assistant coach of the Fallbrook Union High School freshman boys basketball team. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business management from California State University San Marcos and a Human Resource Management Certificate from Loyola Marymount University. Greg was hired on at Fallbrook Hospital in August 2002 as Human Resources Coordinator and in 2005 also took on the role of Recruiter.

Greg is married to Fallbrook High School alumna Kelly Calver, enjoys golf and basketball and is an avid San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Lakers fan. “From the Hospital Emergency Room staff treating my injuries to the community cheering us on at basketball games, Fallbrook has always been there for me,” says Greg. “As the new Human Resources Director, I will do my best to help provide the finest environment for both our patients and our employees.”
