Bonsall postmaster offers tips

BONSALL — Bonsall postmaster Candice Watson reminds residents that purchasing postage stamps is easier than ever thanks to several options that offer stamp sales.

“We truly are making your postal experience quick, easy and convenient,” said Watson. “Besides visiting the Post Office, there are other ways to purchase stamps: in person at three local businesses and ATMs, by mail or phone and online.”

Stamps at local businesses

Mailers can purchase stamps quickly and easily when they visit several local businesses, all located at 5256 South Mission Road (River Village):

• Bonsall One Hour Photo (hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m .; Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

• Daniel’s Market (hours: daily 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

• Community National Bank ATM

Stamps by mail, phone and Internet

Stamps are also available by mail. Ask for a Stamps-by-Mail order form or order stamps by phone at

1-800-STAMP-24 anytime, 24 hours a day, or order online at http://www.usps.com.

Passport service

And when it comes time to apply for a passport, the Bonsall Post Office processes passport applications Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment. Call (760) 758-4173.
