Board change needed

Beginning in 1992, I regularly attended the Fallbrook Union High School District board meetings for more than 10 years. Initially, the meetings were very informative as the board fully discussed matters concerning the district. This is no longer the case.

Board members were allowed an “opening statement” where a member might request a topic be placed on a future agenda or make a statement, positive or negative, concerning the district. This opportunity to inform the public is gone. It was deleted from the agenda. Discussion of agenda items by this board, as well, is less than previous...
