After being away from Northern California for 15 years, I was aghast when I returned recently and found there were no barrio-looking furniture stores, no liquor stores, no markets and, sadly, no tattoo parlors. There was also no trash or abandoned buildings along the road and only a group of ballet dancers loafing around the Texaco station.
One great advantage Fallbrook has over Northern California is that William P. Hardesty has moved back there, where he can rent a trailer for $2.50 a month and save money.
As Abraham Lincoln once said, “Good riddance to bad rubbish!”
