'Wizard of Oz' special event Oct. 27, 29

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Wee Little Sprouts in Fallbrook on October 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. and October 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a “Wizard of Oz” special event.

Pose for photographs with “Wizard of Oz” costumed characters. The first 25 “little Munchkins” to attend the special event and successfully answer a “Wizard of Oz” trivia question will receive an autographed lollipop (signed by Jerry Maren, the original “Lollipop Kid” from MGM’s film version of “The Wizard of Oz”).

Other activities include planting Land of Oz poppies, coloring “Wizard of Oz” pictures and playing “Pin the Tail on the Cowardly Lion.” (Prizes will be awarded for all participants.)
