Bopf supports high-density annexation

If you favor excessive development and wasteful spending, Bopf is your man. However, if you want accountability and sound judgment then you need to vote for George McManigle.

Bopf is the remaining member of the old board that enacted numerous decisions that have seriously impacted Rainbow! Bopf supported the $90 million bond in 2004 and the ratepayers soundly rejected Prop O. Bopf rejected the pay-as-you-go policy and warned that water rates would increase substantially if Prop O. was rejected. Since then Rainbow has determined that a pay-as-you-go policy is the best policy.

Bopf proposed and voted for the Pardee sewer agreement that we are currently stuck with. This agreement provides Pardee with substantial benefits at Rainbow’s expense. As a developer consultant Bopf favors annexation, which supports excessive development that will significantly degrade your quality of life. Bopf’s agenda will eliminate agriculture.

Bopf led the old board in appointing their cronies to fill board vacancies rather than qualified candidates solely to maintain control. Ratepayers were forced to recall these appointments at considerable expense to the ratepayers.

A vote for Bopf is a vote for Pardee. Vote for George McManigle, who opposes the Pardee sewer plant and annexation.
