Bopf taking Rainbow Water in the wrong direction

Your vote on November 7 is crucial to getting a responsible majority on the Board of Directors that will for once truly represent the consensus thinking of Fallbrook and Bonsall. I believe most of us would like to see an efficient district that managed our costs, protected our water supply and worked to preserve the rural character and quality of our life.

Regrettably, Director Bopf’s voting record shows us just the opposite. He has advocated and voted for the annexation of the Pardee property. He is comfortable with giving our precious water to the developers and building a sewer plant on the San Luis Rey River. His approach simply enables the build-out east of I-15 and the ultimate over-urbanization of our area. Is this what you want for our community?

It’s time for a change! Elect responsible individuals who will truly represent you and our community, not someone who is a consulting with developers and openly advocates his or her position. Vote for George McManigle, Bob Lucy and Rua Petty, responsible community business leaders with proven records and a commitment to truly represent us on the RMWD Board. Times are a-changing — make it happen!
