Union showing their true colors

The union is showing their true colors. They have intimidated other staff members to contribute money. They have misled business establishments by telling them that their “SOS” signs were for a school activity. When they lost business because of the signs, they felt betrayed. Dorothy Harper offended fellow church members by using their place of worship to hand out her union propaganda.

Parents and students are afraid to express their public support of Mr. Hutcherson and Mrs. White because of possible retribution on their child by the teachers. The candidates they have placed on the ballot have a serious conflict of interest. Mr. Steffler was principal and Mr. Schulte’s wife was activity director when the organization of student funds was set up as a slush funds for the football coaches. We all know what happened with that. They use the slogan “SOS – Save Our Schools,” but in reality it should read “Sacrifice Our Students” for the welfare of the union cause. It reminds me of the story about the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

You can count on telephone calls and being confronted by union supporters. They have unlimited funds available for their campaign. Their wives would all benefit from having their spouses on the school board. Do we want liberal union board members deciding district policy? I, unlike Jack Boline, say absolutely not!
