Insects galore at Zion Lutheran!

Seventh grade students at Zion Lutheran Middle School have been going buggy the past
six weeks by collecting and studying insects! Their first major unit of study has been invertebrate zoology. Part of their study of the arthropods was the requirement to scour hills and valleys for the six-legged variety. Most students worked in teams in an attempt to collect a variety of the elusive insects. Mr. Fischer, the seventh grade science teacher, was more than a little pleased with their collections. But then again, so would curators of the San Diego Museum of Natural History!...
