DBE fashion show a win-win

Vista Valley Country Club was the scene of another successful collaboration between the Daughters of the British Empire’s (DBE) Excalibur Chapter and Donna’s Unique Boutique on Wednesday, October 18.

Sixty-seven elegantly dressed ladies attended a luncheon and fashion show at which nine members of the Excalibur Chapter modeled a total of 27 original outfits ranging from casual to formal. Throughout the show, Donna Reisbeck-Stoewer entertained with a running commentary. Then it was open shopping for all!

Donna donates 15 percent of all purchases to nonprofit organizations. Proceeds from DBE fundraisers help support the British Retirement Home in Sierra Madre and local Fallbrook charities.
