NAPPS supports Animal Shelter Appreciation Week

Last updated 11/3/2006 at Noon

NAPPS (the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) is a nationwide program formed to assist in the wellbeing of shelter animals, help support local shelters and the staff of caregivers and create awareness of community shelters. To support National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, November 5-12, NAPPS is introducing an annual collection drive to benefit shelter pets.

These abandoned pets need help! Community members can provide for their safety and comfort by donating toys, treats, blankets, towels, rugs, beds, bleach, leashes, collars, dog product coupons and newspapers.
