Interact Club expands at Fallbrook High School

FALLBROOK — The Interact Club of FUHS, a Rotary Club of Fallbrook sponsored high school student community service group, has received over 120 member applications already this school year. When asked why there were so many students applying for Interact, outgoing Interact President Amy Hansen replied, “There is a growing popularity on campus for students to get involved in community service.”

Interact activities include supporting and visiting La Gloria Orphanage in Tijuana in December, working on the Rotary International Parade of Roses float December 31 for the Rose Bowl celebration, visiting and assisting in local skilled nursing homes, working on anti-graffiti and removal of graffiti, helping out at the Art Center in Fallbrook and assisting the Rotary Club of Fallbrook’s Lobster On the Green annual fundraising event as well as their annual Rotarians at Work day.
