Wildlife artists exhibit carvings, paintings at library

FALLBROOK — Award-winning wildlife artist Gene Saunders and his wife, watercolorist Patricia, are exhibiting their artworks at Fallbrook Library during the month of November. Gene’s life-size carved and painted raptors, ducks and shorebirds are displayed in the lobby and Patricia’s watercolors hang in the check-out area of the library as the featured Fallbrook Art Association exhibitor of the month. The creative couple’s carvings and paintings reflect the wild birds, animals and flowers featured in their designated “Backyard Wildlife Habitat.” They are both avid protectors of the environment and share their love of nature with everyone through their artworks.
