Bates juried into Museum of Art show Nov. 10-12

FALLBROOK — Local fine art watercolor painter Jim Bates has been juried into the third annual San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA) Artists Guild Fine Art Festival, which opens November 10 in the James S. Copley Auditorium at Balboa Park.

Fine Art Festival III will take place on Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a special opening night preview on Friday, November 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door and cost $10 for SDMA members and $20 for nonmembers for opening night, and $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers for the weekend festival. Ticket fees and a portion of all sales benefit the San Diego Museum of Art. Light refreshments will be served on opening night.
