Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary needs help

The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary has been sited for zoning regulation violations and has been ordered to cease and desist. We are writing this in hopes that someone can help us.

Since 2002 the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary has taken in, housed, rehabilitated and re-homed over 500 animals. This is a much-needed organization.

Fallbrook and Bonsall do not have any animal shelters. The surrounding animal shelters are not able to help this area most of the time. There are numerous animals that need our help and deserve a second chance, and the people of our community deserve the service we provide as well.

Even though we rented our present location with the understanding it would be a shelter, we have now been told that the location we are using is not zoned for this use and that we will have to move and/or relocate the animals. This is the second time in a year we will have had to move and start over at great expense.

We need your help. Donations would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows or has property that is zoned (O, R, or T designation) that we could rent, lease or lease option, we would greatly appreciate knowing about it. It could be anywhere in the Bonsall, Fallbrook or Rainbow areas. Please contact us at [email protected] or (760) 685-3533 or (760) 518-6024.

In the meantime, if you have been thinking of adopting a cat or kitten, now is the time to check out our great selection of kitties that are ready to be adopted.
