Lamoise visits Fallbrook Rotary Club

FALLBROOK — Philippe Lamoise, the San Diego County Rotary District 5340 Governor, shared in award ceremonies, then spoke to the gathering of Rotarians at the weekly Monday luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, held at the Grand Tradition. With this visit, Lamoise completed the last of the traditional annual Governor’s Visits to each of the 60 Rotary clubs and their 3,500 members in San Diego County and Imperial Valley. After recognition of Don Mitterling for his 50 years as a Rotarian and congratulations to Chris Riggs on becoming a new club member, Lamoise donned a sombrero and invited everyone present to attend the 2007 Annual District Conference to be held in Ensenada, Mexico, next May.

Lamoise reminded his audience that “Rotary is a bottoms-up organization, and you are to be congratulated for your ongoing efforts in being such an important part of Rotary, and the Rotary Foundation efforts, locally, in the district, nation and internationally.” Information on Rotary and the Foundation can be found at http://www.rotary.org or http://www.rotary5340.org.
