Mildred Francis Parmley

Mildred Francis Parmley, 84, passed way at her home in Fallbrook on November 15, 2006. Mildred was born April 18, 1922, in Harlingen, TX. She was a resident of Fallbrook for 20 years.

Mildred was a beautiful woman who experienced a wonderful life full of love for her family and friends. She was proud to be an active member of the Fallbrook Live Oak Questers, Chapter 1166, and the Angel Society of Fallbrook. Her many friends and family will remember her grand sense of humor, her zeal for life, her compassion for animals, her gift for gardening and growing beautiful flowers and her infinite quest for fine antiques and the knowledge of their origins and history.

She was welcomed at the “Gates of Heaven” by her parents, Willis Jay and Oberia Sherman, along with her sister, Alene Howland.

She is survived by Robert R. Parmley, her beloved husband of 63 years; sons Randy (Denise), Bob (Janice) and Norman (Suzie); daughters Carol, Gail (Jim) and Alison (Jay); grandchildren Jennifer, Tessa, Chad, Cindy, Brandon, Sarah, Cheyanne, Bethany, Bobby Jr., Brady, Kirby, Grant and Julia; and great-grandchildren Matthew, Douglas, Michael, Emily, Maya, Mark Jr., Logan, Levi, Kaitlin, Wyatt, Steven, Christina and Michael.

A viewing will be held Sunday, November 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Berry-Bell and Hall Mortuary. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held November 22, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Berry-Bell and Hall Fallbrook Mortuary, 333 North Vine Street, Fallbrook.
