Brandon Gallery announces December events

FALLBROOK — Brandon Gallery is full of Christmas cheer this season. The Monday Plein Air Painters will be the featured artists for the month. Included in the group, headed by Jeanne Shanahan, will be Mary Alice Bopf, Sarah Meisenholder, Penny Fedorchak, Ann Kriele, Eileen Pace, Phee Sherline, Phylis Walker and Carilyn Vice. A reception for the artists will be Sunday, December 10, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Louise Prestige paintings will also be featured during December. Prestige, an outstanding and well loved Fallbrook artist, passed away a few years ago and has designated Brandon Gallery to sell her remaining works. Louise painted in watercolor and developed an architectural style to her painting that is easily recognized in her work.

Brandon Gallery is also pleased to announce that Beth King, well known San Diego area painter, will be a guest artist at the gallery. While at the gallery, patrons are urged to ask to be shown her outstanding work.

On December 1, Brandon Gallery will participate with Historic Downtown Merchants in celebrating their customers. Brandon Gallery will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. An open house will be conducted from 5 until 8 p.m. that evening. An “Art of the Flower” poster, signed by either Robin Erikson or Beth Taft, will be presented to everyone purchasing merchandise totaling more than $25 that evening.
