Learn about Southern California landscapes

Fallbrook Garden Club will meet on Tuesday, November 28, at 12:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, to hear Karla M. Ogilvie, a landscape historian, speak about the evolution of garden design in Southern California from the missions to the modern era.

Devoted to a lifetime study of history and gardens, Ogilvie brings her passion for history together with the landscape to give garden lovers a unique perspective of landscape design and history. A graduate of Colorado State University with degrees in history and landscape design, she is uniquely qualified to write and speak about garden history. Now residing in San Diego, Ogilvie writes and photographs for garden publications, travels to gardens around the world and shares garden stories to eager listeners.

Fallbrook Garden Club is a charter member of California Garden Clubs Inc., Palomar District and a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc., Pacific Region. All meetings are open to the public. For more information call BJ Russell at (760) 728-8081 or Yolande Jackson at (760) 728-0301.
