SWSC GU18 state champions!

Fallbrook High School junior Kyleen Button and the rest of the Southwest Soccer Club’s (SWSC) GU18 team (Girls Under 18 years of age), coached by Rachid Elbekraoui and Assistant Coach Howard Windsor, traveled to Fresno, CA, November 11 and 12 to represent SWSC and Coast Soccer League to compete in the North vs. South 2006 California Premier State Championship. They played the top teams in the state and came home champions!

“This is a great accomplishment for the team and the club,” said Coach Rachid. “It is proof to the girls and their parents that a lot of hard work pays off.”

The team ended their season with a fourth place finish in Coast Soccer League Premier League, which features the top dozen GU18 teams from CYSA South Coast Soccer League.
