A discouraging loss

Last updated 12/1/2006 at Noon

In the hurry and excitement of everything that has been going on downtown Rhonda Reinke lost something precious to her: a tennis bracelet given to her on her anniversary by her husband, Claude. It saddens me to see her lose something so precious to her while she has done so much for Fallbrook.

She’s pretty sure she lost it Wednesday, probably on Main Avenue while she was preparing and carrying things to get ready for the holiday festivities in the Square. She’s been so busy that it is just now being reported as lost and we’ve had plenty of examples like this in our friendly village where people have come forward and done the right thing with something valuable.

I am looking for a happy ending for someone who has selflessly given of herself to all of us. If anyone knows anything or if someone is waiting for the notice that it is missing… now’s the time! I believe there is also a reward.

Thanks for your help.
