Palomar College glass, pottery, photography sale Dec. 7-9

SAN MARCOS — Timed just right for finding unique holiday gifts, Palomar College’s semiannual student glass, pottery and photography sale is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, December 7-9, at the college’s San Marcos campus, 1140 West Mission Road.

The sale will be conducted in the timber frame structure with the green roof near Parking Lot 15, just south of the Howard Brubeck Theatre. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Shoppers can select from a wide variety of items that have been handcrafted by Palomar students. The assortment includes dishes, planters, plates, platters, stoneware, jewelry, bowls, jugs, wind chimes, hand-blown glass vases, goblets and other decorative items. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Palomar art students and the department. Shoppers may pay with cash, checks or credit cards.

Sale attendees without campus parking permits should use the main campus entrance and obtain a one-day visitor’s pass from the Campus Police at that location.
