Ownership amendment approved in Live Oak Park Road lien

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 November 15 to approve an ownership amendment in a lien contract and holding agreement for a Live Oak Park Road subdivision.

The supervisors’ action also extends the performance completion date for the final map to September 12, 2008. The tentative map had previously expired on September 18, 2006, although any request for a time extension prior to the expiration automatically extends the expiration until the request is granted or denied.

The subdivision on the southeast side of Live Oak Park Road is approximately 500 feet northeasterly of Ridge Drive and consists of 58.03 acres. The tentative map approved in 1991 by the county’s Planning and Environmental Review Board includes 19 single-family residential lots.

In November 1997 a time extension for the project was granted, changing the expiration date to September 12, 2002. In September 2002 the supervisors approved an Agreement to Improve Subdivision along with a Lien Contract and Holding Agreement, and in August 2004 a time extension to September 2006 was granted.

Ownership of the project is in the process of changing from JDLC #1 LLC to LACA Investments, LLC, and JJJD LLC, and the new ownership does not wish to construct the project immediately and requested a time extension in order to secure financing for the necessary improvements to the property.
