FALLBROOK — It’s not easy teaching a few rules of physics to 6- to 10-year-olds, but that’s exactly what former Navy pilot and Vietnam War veteran Pete La Chat accomplished with Pack 738 Cub Scouts last week. At St. Peter’s Sheridan Hall La Chat explained, with much creativity and hands-on materials, the forces that create the “lift” that causes an airplane (and a baseball!) to fly. Pack 738 wishes to thank Mr. La Chat for one of the best and most informative presentations this year!
