Maurer-Bostrom engaged

Jerry and Adele Maurer of Fallbrook are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Laura-Ashley to Andrew Blake Bostrom.

In 2002 Laura-Ashley graduated from Fallbrook High School, where she lettered in field hockey, soccer, lacrosse and track and field. She recently graduated from The University of the Pacific, majoring in dental hygiene. While in college she played field hockey and was active in the Delta Gamma Sorority. The couple met four years ago while attending Pacific.

Andrew is the son of Dr. Blake and Cheryl Bostrom of Lynden, WA. He attended Lynden Christian High School, where he graduated valedictorian in 2001 and was the Washington State High School Golf Champion. At Pacific, he received his degree in business, graduating summa cum laude in 2005. In college he played golf for the Pacific Tigers and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

The bride-to-be works in private practice in North County. Andrew is a professional golfer currently living in Scottsdale, AZ.

The couple is planning an April 2007 wedding at the Grand Tradition.
