National Charity League supports local events

FALLBROOK — The mothers and daughters of National Charity League (NCL), San Luis Rey Chapter, were out in force this fall supporting many Local Events.

In October over 30 NCL volunteers assisted the Fallbrook Land Conservancy in hosting their annual fundraiser, Stage Coach Sunday. Mothers and daughters created auction boards, baked brownies, ran game and face painting booths and served food.

Early November brought the annual Mother-Daughter Tea. The Teacup Fundraiser netted $3,400, which will be used to fund scholarships for non-NCL senior girls at Fallbrook High School.

In mid-November, NCL supported the Angel Shop evening sale, assisting customers and organizing merchandise. Members also provided weekly support to the Fallbrook Women’s Resource Center, Casa de Amparo, New Haven Home, Fallbrook Senior Center and Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Center.
