Thank you, Rhonda

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rhonda Reinke for saving my life. How, you may ask?

Thursday evening at 7:50 p.m. I was stopped at the corner going west at Alvarado and Main with a red light. I was admiring the beautiful lights downtown when the light turned green. I slowly made my way across the intersection while admiring the lights when a woman in a faded burgundy van plowed through the intersection going south on Main, completely ignoring the fact she had a red light. She never even slowed down. Had I not been admiring the lights and traveling through that intersection at a normal rate of speed, I would have been… well, who knows what, but I may not have been able to enjoy this festive holiday season with my children and loved ones.

So, thank you, Rhonda. Your spirit and generosity in organizing the Joyful Traditions works in magical ways! And if you have the opportunity to travel downtown, SLOW DOWN and enjoy the beauty!
