Flora Guisinger

Flora Guisinger, 93, passed away December 5, 2006, of a stroke at Palomar Hospital, Escondido, CA. She was born July 22, 1913, in Oregon. Mrs. Guisinger was a resident of Fallbrook for 19 years.

Mrs. Guisinger was a housewife who was better known to those who loved her as “Uncle” Flora. She has gone home to be with her Lord. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews. She also loved embroidery and attended Calvary Chapel Fallbrook.

Mrs. Guisinger was preceded in death by first husband Roy McBride in 1962 and second husband Harley Guisinger in 1985. She is survived by sister Louise Pizzo; nephew Peter Pizzo; niece Darleen and husband Daryl Bickley; great-nieces Suzanne, Kristen and Sophia; and great-nephews Pete, Max and Gus, all of Fallbrook.

A memorial will be held Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Silvergate Retirement Home, East Building, Fallbrook, with heavy hors d’oeuvres served. Pastor Pat Herrell of Calvary Chapel Fallbrook will officiate.

The family suggests donations to the Elizabeth Hospice, 150 West Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025, and to Fallbrook Calvary Chapel Children’s Ministry, 488 Industrial Way, Suite A-3, Fallbrook, CA 92028.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
