Wall-Gunther wed

Miss Candice Rose Wall and Mr. Michael Garrett Gunther were joined in marriage August 12, 2006, at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in La Jolla.

A formal evening reception was held at the Westin Hotel, where guests were ushered into the main ballroom. Cascading calla lily arrangements and satin and silk organza cloths graced every table. The newlyweds entered the ballroom and danced to Frank Sinatra’s “All the Way.” Mr. Christopher Gunther introduced the couple and gave the toast, which was followed by dinner and dancing.

Miss Wall, the daughter of Mrs. Kathleen Wall of La Jolla, is a graduate of La Jolla High School. Mr. Gunther, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gunther of Fallbrook, is a graduate of Fallbrook High School and Sacramento State University.

The bride was attired in a lace halter-style gown with a chapel-length train. The gown was set off by a fingertip veil trimmed in crystal beads and small tiara; she carried calla lilies and an heirloom handkerchief.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Maria Mayr, Mrs. Bridget Clarke and Mrs. Melissa Taff. The bridesmaids wore waltz-length golden satin halter-top gowns and carried rust calla lilies. Groomsmen for Mr. Gunther were Mr. Christopher Gunther, Mr. Greg Zumwalt, Mr. Darrin Wake and Mr. Tom Cooper.

The couple honeymooned in Kauai, HI, and now lives in Bonsall.
