'Annie Warbucks' auditions Jan. 8

Fallbrook Players Junior Conservatory (FPJC) is pleased to announce their next blockbuster show along with the creative team that will bring the production to Fallbrook. “Annie Warbucks” will play at Fallbrook’s Mission Theater March 16-25. The world’s favorite orphan returns in the long-awaited sequel to the international smash hit “Annie.”

In the best comic strip tradition, “Annie Warbucks” begins exactly where “Annie” ends. As the curtain rises on “Annie Warbucks,” the sun has come out and Annie and Daddy Warbucks are together – until the authorities announce that Warbucks has to find Annie a mother or return her to the orphanage. The adventure continues with new songs, new heroes, new villains and new problems to be solved. All the ingredients that made “Annie” so successful are here once again, with an old-fashioned romance thrown in for good measure! With villains that audiences love to hate, adorable orphans and sophisticated music, this production promises to be another FPJC smash hit.

Auditions are Monday, January 8, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Live Oak Elementary School, 1978 Reche Road, Fallbrook. Audition appointments (not mandatory, but suggested) may be made by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling (760) 451-0650. Many actors of all ages are needed for this production.
