Robert Johnston Woodward

Robert Johnston Woodward, 86, passed away December 14, 2006, in Fallbrook, CA. Born April 20, 1920, in Hawaii, Mr. Woodward was a resident of Fallbrook for six years.

Mr. Woodward retired in 1976 after 30 years as an engineer with Shell Oil Co. He served as a Lieutenant in aerial photography in the US Navy during WWII.

Mr. Woodward is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marguerite Woodward, Fallbrook; daughters Linda Vonminden, Fallbrook, and Nancy Stone, Amarillo, TX; son Dr. Rell Woodward, MD, HI; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a private cremation and private family memorial service at a future date. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
