Veterans' workshops available by appointment

Veteran representative Steve LaVoie will available by appointment at the Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation for information and assistance in the overwhelming task of filling out VA forms required to receive benefits. These services are free of charge.

“There was such a positive response from the previous monthly veterans’ workshops, we decided to make this free service available by appointment on a regular basis,” the Foundation’s Care Advocate, Irene Escobedo, said.

LaVoie is very knowledgeable about veteran affairs and is dedicated to helping beneficiaries understand and receive the services to which they are entitled. He is also able to provide details about transportation issues, burial benefits, survivor benefits and other concerns about veterans’ benefits.
